IRMM open day
The JRC-IRMM opens its doors to the public during the “Open Bedrijvendag” in Flanders”. The Director and staff of IRMM are pleased to invite you, your family and friends to visit our Institute and selected laboratories on 7th October 2007.
How do the regulators know what limit to set for toxin content in baby food or how to measure allergens? What can accelerators be used for? What are measurement standards? Come to JRC-IRMM and find out how research and legislation are connected.
The Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (IRMM) is one of the seven institutes of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission. Visitors of the Open Day will be able to visit laboratories, try scientific experiments and attend presentations. The fire brigade of the JRC-IRMM will also give demonstrations.
